Week 11
We have almost made it through our first ever term at school, well done everyone! This week we will be reviewing everything we have learned in Anton and updating our alphabet, reading and number knowledge testing.
Over the holidays we are getting new wall coverings which will make our room look lovely and fresh.
We have an assembly at 2.20pm on Thursday to celebrate the end of term with the whole school.
Week 10
This week we welcome Beau to our class. It is great to have you with us.
Literacy and Maths
This week we have our final two letters of the alphabet in our Anton books - x and y. For the next two weeks we will be reviewing some of the more tricky letters such as b/d and p/q which are easily confused and some of the more tricky sounds such as g/j, c/s, e/i. Our poem this week is called paper airplanes. We will be making and testing some paper airplanes on Friday to see how far we can get them to fly!
